The brief
Someone living with dementia may ask the same question many times a day, and the family can't always be there to answer. The brief was a companion that answers the tenth time like the first, in the family's own words, and tells the family what they need to know.
What we built
- A hands-free tablet: say “Remi” and talk, in Hindi or English
- Visitor recognition from photos the family adds, with a hint about what to talk about
- Answers the family writes in advance for the hardest questions
- Spoken medicine reminders and gentle check-ins
- An evening note for the family, with instant alerts for words like “fell” or “scared”
- A family portal, and a demo family that resets every day
